In spite of various treatement of alopecia, any treatements were unable to gain perfect effect. Namely the scalp reduction,scalp flaps and composite scalp grafts were limitations in natural hair style, hair direction and scar.
 But single hair transplantation settled above problems. This single hair transplantation was based on donor dominant theory. The occipital hair-bearing scalp was harvested, and then was segmented in one ,two and three hair follicle, and the hair grafts were placed into recipient sites using the disposable Choi hair transplanter. The results were good appearance and less complication. The single and bundle hair transplantation could be obtained  natural hair style due to black colored and thicked hair in oriental hair style, could graft in desirable direction, and could be free from scar.
 104 cases of single and bundle hair transplantation were performed from Mar. 1997 to Nov. 1999 for male and female pattern baldness, traumatic alopecia, eyebrow alopecia, eyelash alopecia and pubic alopecia.
